Yasha Melanie Husain
received her bachelors in international politics from The American University, in Washington, DC. While there, she interned for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, and took part in the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program.

Thereafter, she set out to write, but first worked in documentary film and journalism, as a development professional, producer and writer.

She spent her first two years, in the film business, at National Geographic Television, in Washington, assisting and coordinating films for the anthropology and natural history producers. She then became a freelancer, and worked for: ABC Turning Point; The History Channel; Adams Wooding Company (for PBS); Space.com; the Travel Channel; Sierra Club Productions and Wiland-Bell Productions (for PBS), in both New York City and Los Angeles, where she also developed her own film ideas, covering ancient Ayurvedic medicine and Nader Khalili's Superadobe architecture, and his life story.

Yasha's recently written the soon-to-be published series of nonfiction works, including: Holistic Living: Tips for Youth; The New Village: Finding Holistic Solutions; The Modern Roots of Holism and The Ancient Roots of Holism.

She continues to work on long-form nonfiction.

Currently, she's writing her fifth and final book in the series, American Determinism: Holistic Politics, which is due to be completed by fall of 2013.

You can read excerpts from her books, to be released toward the end of fall 2013, at her writer's site, www.yashahusain.com, where she's also published a number of recent opinion articles.

Yasha has, as a culmination of the book series on holism, established the Holistic Solutions Think Tank, which builds, too, on her experience in politics and media, inside and outside of the Capital Beltway.

She's currently forming a 'panel of consultants' that will operate as a roundtable to help disseminate and circulate the progressive ideas reached through the projects of the think tank.

Projects already include the realization of the American Reconstruction Department, the Redevelopment of City and Rural Areas Authority – Staying True to Our Heritage (RCRA), and the 'Charting the Course' education proposal.

As for these projects, there will be issued, by the think tank, extended reports and analyses based on the needs of the systems to be reformed, so that the affected systems may be fully and accurately actualized.

Additional "field areas," still to be emphasized by a similar work approach of the think tank, include: law and media and communications.

If anyone is interested in becoming a member of the panel of consultants, please respond via email, or by phone, using the contact information below.

Whether or not you seek to be a panel member, if you're interested in supporting the think tank, hopefully there will be an opportunity to set up a meeting to discuss the potential for the ideals it upholds. Please, again, respond using the contact information below.

If you would additionally like to invest in the effort, or know someone, or an organization, that would, since the work will be ongoing, please also know both financial investments and suggestions for grassroots organizing are needed, and at this critical time when the think tank is being launched.
